About us

Dr Neville Sammel is a cardiologist at St. Vincent's Public and Private hospitals and is an adjunct associate professor at Notre Dame University and a conjoint senior lecturer at the University of New South Wales.

He is the Director of Cardiac Rehabilitation on the St. Vincent’s campus and is the medical lead on the Cardiac Rehabilitation committee of the South Eastern Sydney Illawarra Health Service. He represented the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand on the National Heart Foundation working party to recommend guidelines for exercise in patients with heart conditions.

Dr Sammel has a special interest in cardiac imaging. He reports on CT coronary angiography and is the liaison cardiologist for cardiac nuclear imaging on the St. Vincent’s campus.
